![]() 2 Fun Days Sun, 8/17/03 2:09 am Yeah so I had 2 pretty awesome days inna row. Saturday afternoon, I saw Freddy vs Jason with my brother Mike, his wife Cindy, my sister Teresa, and my brother's friend and girlfriend. I really enjoyed the movie, despite not seeing any of the preceding Friday the 13th or Nightmare On Elm Street movies. Saturday night, I went to the Garritys' cause my parents were there playing Bripp there. It turned out to be very fun. We hung out inside for a little while then we headed out back to play lazer tag. It was awesome. Sean and I took on Deanna and Maloree. Heheh. Soon after the first few rounds, Basile and Sara showed up. I showed them my new TV. Then we had a lazer tag match in my house. We went back down to Sean's where we played more lazer tag. I defeated Dan C and Maloree in the final battle since Basile died immediatley. LOL. After that, we all headed home. It was a great night. Today I awoke to the sound of Sean throwing rocks at my window. lol. I let them in and we couldn't think of anything to do, so Sean went home and ate. Sara was available, so we gave Lord of the Flies an attempt. I f*ckin' hate reading and school... so yea, it's obvious how long that lasted... Dan left, and me Sean and Sara watched The Wedding Singer in my room. We were all crammed onto my bed. lol. There was a mountain of blankets, too. Haha. After that, Dan came in and we went to Lena's Water ice. On the way there, we almost walked into a huge spider web along the sidewalk. Luckily Dan pointed it out before we got too close. Heheh. Oh yea, an update on the new site. Lately, I've been working on a new layout. Noteworthy is the fact that this will be my first attempt at an iframe-based site. Hopefully it will work out. I think it will. Now the emotional stuff. (Cue the music... Our Lady Peace - Somewhere Out There). Ahem. Yeah... I dunno... The last few days, I've been growing a little downtrodden on the fact that this is (or was) our last summer of pure hanging out and having nothing to worry about. By next summer I believe we'll all have jobs and won't be all able to hang out at the same time. I've also been realizing that next summer will be our last "free" summer. Yeah. I can't beliee it. Can you? Dude... I seriously remember sitting in f*ckin' sunday church school with John S at age 3... and you're telling me that there's only 2 years until our college lives start? It's crazy. I feel like I'm still a kid. Hell, I just dug my action figures a few days ago and played with them. I can still get sugar-high off of soda and candy. I get excited when I walk by KB Toys in the mall. I still love doing the things I did when I was 8 years old. It's so scary knowing that we're getting closer and closer to the end of our high school lives. I can't believe I'll be a damn junior. It seems unreal. Ya know what... next time you see me, pinch me. But not too hard. I'm done rambling for today. More later on. 'Night. - Kev ![]() A Nagging Ear Ache 8/16/03 10:57 am Yesterday, a lot happened. Me, Sean, and Jack went to a buncha stores and I got NHL '93, '94, '95, and '96... as well as NHL All Star Hockey '94. It was cool... all for like 8 dollars altogether. It was cool. I also got some snacks at Acme. We came home and I bought a 20 inch TV from Ryan Wetenhall. After that, I had Wendy's for dinner. Then Sara, Sean, and I went to Ken's to swim. it was a good time. Then we came home and I had Sean and Jack sleep over and played NHL 2003. It was neat. I would have updated if I didn't have my swimmer's ear or threw up or felt like i was dead. I'm goin' to see Freddy vs Jason inna little while. I'll update later no tonight. - Kev ![]() Summer Winding Down 8/14/03 3:20 am Yeah so it's sad but safe to say that Summer '03 is slowly coming to a close. We did a lot of neat stuff this year... and I'm glad the events that occured went the way they did. The reason I didn't update yesterday is cause there was a minor issue-let. Hopefully it's resolved now. Today was a boring day. I woke up, went outside, and cut the grass. Front and back. I came in and sat around and did nuthin. Sat on the computer. Later on, MAtt El and I launched water balloons at Ashley Lupinacci's house cause there were a buncha people (including my sister) swimming out there. Then later we swam. It was the only good 2 hours of the day. Things are starting to suck. Nothing's like it used to be. Everyone was getting along great back in June and it slowly got ripped up. It was once a big family photo, and now it's becoming a bunch of ripped up pieces on the floor. So many grudges and problems. it's just all bad. But the picture can be put back together... but first someone has to buy the glue. - Kev ![]() The Mothman Assicies 8/12/03 11:19 pm I awoke this morning at 11am to the sound of Timmy Garrity. And also to the sound of Matt L waking up Sean to go and jam at Bill Coburn's. I went back to sleep til 1 then decided to get up and head home. I invited Sara and Sean and Basile over and we watched the Mothman Proficies. It was ok... but no one paid attention so no one really understood it. After that Dan came over and Matt L and we gave Bagman II another attempt didn't work. So we hung out inside for a while. Aslo during the day Dan and I ordered chicken cheesesteaks from Ron's. They were delish. Ool and it's not even midnight and I'm growing tired. I guess It's better if I get onto a normal schedule. Tommorow, I think I'm gonna put my application in at Wendy's. Hopefully, I'll snag a job. Hopefully there'll be more to do tommorow... like cut the grass. heheh. - Kev ![]() ![]() Sleepin' Over Sean's , 8/11/03 2:04 am Today was a greaty. I woke up at like 12. This was a neat event. It was the first time I've woken up before 2pm in about 3 weeks. All day, we planned Deanna's outting at her house. Me, Sean, Jack, dan, and Sara headed over at about 7. It was fun. We played some lazer tag and stuff. At about 9, Leah Pedersen showed up. We hung outside for a while then went in and watched Final Destination 2. Like Sara had forewarned, it was pointless, gay, and stupid. It was also very bad. We came home at about 11. I went down to my house and got my PS2 and cot. Sean's PS2 isn't working at the moment. we had a new fantasy draft and me, Sean, and Jack started a new 29-game season. We've concluded that this will be the last season that we will have o NHL 2003. So, It's an important one. What's unique about this season is that we are, for the first time, all in the same conference. Jack and I are in the same division, and Sean's in a separate one. It will be a tight battle for playoff spots this year. Tommorow we gotta wake up at 7am to watch Timmy... and we're gonna play the NHL season. Needless to say, I should snag some sleep now. See ya later. - Kev ![]() Insomnia , 8/10/03 4:43 am Ool and I've had trouble sleeping lately. It's all bad. Today I woke up and just as I was about to call Sean, he called me. Everyone was at his house so I showered up and headed down. We hung out in Sean's room and watched Halloween 4. We asked Chris if the haunted woods will take place this year, and we haven't gotten a full response yet. I think it will happen. We went out in the woods and looked things over. Since the last time we were back there, which I think was for sledding, a buncha trees have fallen and annoying brush has filled many areas. I think we'll be able to fix it up by October. At night, we went to the courts. We were short a player, so we recruited 2 kids we didn't know. It was a bad game. I didn't do much 'cause my God d*mn skates suck. I left Jack's in my mom's car. Deanna, Maloree, and Jeana showed up... as well as Sara and Natalie Boyle. Afterwards we went to Lena's and chanted at the sophomores that were gathered at Saratoga playground. I'm gonna be workin' on a bigger site soon. And also... Tommorow we may start filming Bagman II. I hope it works out. That's all for today. See ya'll tommorow. - Kev ![]() Basile's , 8/9/03 2:28 am Today I went to Basile's since mommy and daddy Basile went to Lancaster. Sara and I went over and we watched American Pie 2. Me and Basile hung out for a while after Sara had to go and babysit. We soon decided to go hang with her... since the lady sed she could have a couple friends over. We sat there for a while, and eventually S. Garrity pulled. They came back from Maine at 7pm. So after the arrival, Sara decided we should break it up due to an exceeded capacity. So then me and Sean went to Basiles. We hung there for a little bit then walked in the rain to my house. Matthew Basile came and picked up Kevin... and that ended the day. lol. Is it just me... or are the days getting shorter? I gotta start wakin' up earlier I guess. It'd be a good idea. Tommorow, hopefully, we'll get a hockey game goin' if it doesn't get too wet. That's all for today. See ya tommorow. - Kev ![]() To Kenny's House We Go , 8/8/03 12:49 am Today I awoke at about 2pm. I went on the computer for a while, and then Dan and Butler showed up. We decided that we'd play hockey or do somethin else later. After that, Kenny H called me and wanted me to come over. So I did. I went with S Delp. When we were there, we immediatley swam... and then we went inside and hung around for a little while. Then, Ken said that since it was going to maybe rain, we could all hang out at his house. So we did. Basile and Butler came over, and eventually Dan did too. It was an overall good time. We watched American Pie and Ken made us some cookies 'n' cream milkshakes. Despite a minor dispute with the people who were stranded at the courts, it was an awesome night. Tommorow, I feel, will be even better. By the way... lmao the libox host I got excited about died out. Yeah and it was about 10 minutes after that post that I found out about it. So no libox hosting for me. Phil Carmiello lost over a year's worth of work from the crash. That's all for today. See ya. - Kev ![]() Bigger and Better Things , 8/7/03 11:54 pm So I've been talking to a pal of mine Phil C... and he's told me a few things about web design. He's set me up a nice new account at libox.net... which means... yea, I'll be moving to another host once again. This may upset some of you... for various reasons. It seems like once I get an enjoyable site sunning, I make a completely different one that doesn't have the same viewer affect. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I might keep this same layout but I'm not sure. I really like it a lot... but there's so much more I'd be able to do with a new host. I'm getting 100mb of storage opposed to the meager 20mb offered here at tripod. Well anyway, I'll let you know what happens with that. Today I did nothing at all except play Streets of Rage online with Matt Butler and had a hockey game against the Lightning. We lost 4-2 cause it was a f*ckin' rain game. K. Fidyk registered zero points. I also think I was a -1. An overall bad game. D Cutitta and M Butler attended with umbrellas. Tommorow, I'm gonna try and get a couple of people together to start filming "Mystery". And later 2morrow I'll try and do some stuff with the new host. That's all for today. See ya around. - Kev ![]() "Mystery" , 8/5/03 2:36 am Me, Dan, and Butler came up with an amazing idea for a movie last week. It's called Mystery. The basic idea for the movie is that a man was somehow trapped inside a reflection in an object when he was a young boy. Now, as an adult, he lives in his own world, and can only be seen in the reflection of objects in the everyday world. A couple of people spot him in the reflection of a television set, and he gives them clues as to what needs to be done in order for his soul to be sent to heaven. It will be a drama movie... and it will be a sad one. I've been working on the theme song and it sounds neat. So yea, that's the idea for the new movie from Praying Mantis Productions. Hopefully, we'll start filming it soon. I'll talk a little about today. I woke up at freakin' 4:30 pm. I was so pissed I wasted half the d*mn day. We went up to the mall at like 6. We watched R Groves play Heroclix and bought lazer tag in KB Toys. Basile and I played 4 a while in the store and then we all went home and played on Liberty Street. I tried to convince Sue Fidyk to let us have a slumber bash but she declined the offer. That's all for today. See ya later. - Kev ![]() ![]() Tommorow Looks Awesome Tue, 8/5/03 2:21 am Tommorow looks neat. But I'll talk about what happened today first. I woke up at about 2pm. I immediatley had to hop in the shower and get ready for my dentist appointment. My mom came home from work, and we went there. I got to listen 2 my discman while I was getting my tooth filled. I came home and John, Butler, and Cutitta came over and we started a NHL 2003 tournament. I'm 2-0, Dan is 1-1, John is 1-1, and Butler (despite great defensive play) is at the bottom with an 0-2 record. Deanna came in and Sara showed up on the porch. I neglected her as Deanna walked out of the house and back to Sara's. At like 10pm we ended the tournament as John walked out because his girlfriend was gonna call him at home from camp. So, me Dan and Matt walked up to Lena's. We browsed by the Saratoga playground 'cause we heard people were there. Where were bunchlets of people... and I later found out there were some hotsters there. I shooda stopped but I'm an idiot like that. We came home and sat around a bit. Soon enough, Dan and Butler left. Tommorow looks to be an awesome day. We're gonna head over to the Mall around 6... 'cause R. Groves is gonna be in a "heroclix" tournament. LoL. We're gonna watch him and see if he can beat a player other than "Unregistered Member". Haha. After that we'll probably come back here and play some NHL... and Lena's. The same routine. That's all for tonight. See ya soon. - Kev ![]() Shattered Yet Again Sun, 8/4/03 12:18 am Yeah so the friendship with S Delp has once again been shattered. Heheh it's somethin that happens often... so I'm kinda used to sayin' it. This time, I don't regret it. Last night, aI stayed up 'til 7am. I sat on the computer, worked out a lot, and cleaned the basement nicely. At around 4, I went down to the Garritys' to say goodbye for the week. They're camping in Maine. Today I woke up, went to Lena's with Dan and Butler, and cut the grass in the front and back. Once that was done, I snagged a shower. Mom-Mom came over and she's spending the week here I think 'cause the heat is gettin' worse in her house. I ate 2 niiiice sandwiches on big puffy rolls. They were "delish". I started a new NHL 2002 season on the computer. The game's been running pretty well as long as I close outta every other program. I chose the Tampa Bay Lightning for a fantasy drafted 82-game season. We're currently 0-5-1-0. Yeah, we're bad. We're gonna be for a while unless I get a controller. John S. and Butler walked here at like 8 or 9 somethin'. My uncle Bill from Florida stopped in. Then, Butler, Esche, and I walked to Lena's. The cherry is still not getting old. It's unbelievable. You gotta try it. After we walked home, I played some of my Lightning season, and Butler played John S. in NHL 2003 on my bad TV. M Butler won 2-1 in an overtime thriller. He scored with Sakic (Avalanche) on Hackett (Flyers). I guess the day was pretty good. Tommorow I'm gonna try and get some sorta courts outting goin'. Let me know if you can play. See ya'll tommorow. - Kev ![]() I will get a job soon Sat, 8/3/03 2:00 am So yea another week goes by and I haven't updated at all. Hi my name is Slackey. In the past week... there hasn't really been anything memorable I guess. Well except when we went to The Gallery in Philly on Saturday and tubing down the Delaware River on Sunday. That was pretty cool. Last Friday I also stayed up all night and didn't sleep 'til Saturday night at 8pm. We've been playin' hockey a lot. We're still tryin' to cut down Dan's habits of coming way outta the net. Most goalies have been playin' great except for B. Coburn, who made his rookie debut Thursday night. Basile ended his cold streak and came back with 2 unbelievable games. He's gonna have to keep his glove in the freezer overnight if he keeps this up. We also played yesterday in the light rain, which was also one of Basile's good games. It was very wet. The ball and skating movement was very slowed down, and people slipped a lot. It still managed to be a great game. After the game, I slept over R. Groves'. We got water ice twice and had tacos twice. Yumsters. We also started a 29-game NHL 2003 season, and we got 11 games in each. A couple more slumber parties guys and the season will be complete! I came home and sat on the computer for a while... then ate a chicken cheese steak from Ron's (excellent)... then headed over to Matt Butler's. We went to Blockbuster and scrambled around and came out with Pulp Fiction. We didn't watch it... we watched Mighty Ducks 2 instead. Ool and there's too much stuff that I want. I need to snag a job somewhere. I wanna get NHL 2004, ESPN Hockey, a new TV for my room, a router and network connector for ps2, and in the distant future - a laptop. Well I guess I better start savin'. - Kev ![]() |
